One Badge, One Brain, One Life

A course for emergency responders and public service officers.

One Badge

Emergency Responders train for health and wellness including physical fitness and nutrition, but often do not discuss the impact of line of duty exposure on the brain. The purpose of this training is to teach you strategies to get healthy and stay healthy in the line of duty.

This workshop will focus on what happens to your brain in the line of duty. This isn’t just about concussions, but the exposure that causes your brain to go hot and not shut off.

You can do something to prevent it!

You need to clear your calls!

The purpose of this training is to teach you strategies to get healthy and stay healthy in the line of duty. For the purpose of this program, Emergency Responders will refer to Law Enforcement Professionals, Firefighters, Search and Rescue Professionals, Emergency Medical Professionals both in the field and in the Emergency Rooms, Dispatchers (911 Operators – or the people who take the calls for emergency services), Medical Examiner’s Office Professionals, the Military and Veterans, and anyone who is exposed to the unimaginable in the line of duty. Those who respond to horrific accidents and acts of “man’s inhumanity to man” along with natural and manmade disasters are Heroes. These Heroes put their health and lives on the line to help, protect and save the lives of others on a regular basis. This workshop is to take better care of you! There is also a glossary at the end for your review.

Ultimately the mission of this training is to prevent PTSD and suicides by training Emergency Responders to care for their brains.
